It's a touch of paradise -- Plan de la Tour in the south of France. It's a little town very near St. Tropez and Ste. Maxime, known mostly as the home of Johnny Depp. We made this video in 2004 and will be back in Sept 2006.

Yes, I have seen Johnny and Vanessa's house -- it is just down the (dirt) road from our house -- behind a gate. The couple is often spotted in the Thursday farmer's market in town, where the townsfolk leave them alone to buy their veggies and flowers.

Sorry forgot to add that my family and I are heading to Plan de la Tour ourselves in a couple of weeks for a few weeks away. Needless to say if we did happen to see Johnny and Vanessa or either of them in town we won't be aiming any camera in their direction!

That would be sort of... invasive. I mean, it's not illegal or anything, but I think we should ave some standards and ethics. It's just a house with people in it who'd like to live their private lives in peace. ;)
