What an excellent version! Pleased to see Steve Hackett and John Wetton team up to do such a remarkable job. All instrumentation was true to the original, and the flute solo was par excellence. It was as if the song floated in majestic grandeur.

This was from Steve Hackett's tour to promote his Genesis Revisited album (in which a bunch of old proghead's like the ones above payed tribute to Steve's old band). But they decided to play this song since they had McDonald and Wetton on the tour, who were both in King Crimson (and McDonald co-wrote the song after all).

In The Court of the Crimson King (the album) was also a big influence on Genesis's early sound. Tony Banks actually used Ian McDonald's old Mellotron on Nursery Cryme and Foxtrot.
