Budget Audiophile Stereo System With Paradigm Atom Monitors

The reason I am posting this video is obviously not for you to hear how good the system sounds, but rather to help those on a limited budget by showing what I have decided upon after much research.
I know there are many avenues to take with inexpensive audiophile systems, this is just one route. Discussion is encouraged!
A few more pieces of info: My sound card on the computer is an Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 with the upgraded operational amplifiers.
Always use either MAD or mpg123 mp3 decoders if you must play lossy digital files.
Also, always bypass the windows kmixer as doing so will add definition to your music.
There is no substitute for the tonal color that vinyl has to offer.

| Hey weezecup, how do you like the HSU? I'm wanting to upgrade to the STF-1 but I want to know if it's worth the money. I will be using it with a 5.1 Polk Audio setup(Monitor 40's(Bi-amped) as mains, CS1 center, and Monitor 30's as surrounds) and everything will be driven by my Onkyo 606. My room is really small as well (10x12 ft) so that's why I'm wanting a smaller sub like the STF-1. |

| Thank you for your reply. I will probably be picking one of these up sometime next spring(or until I have enough money for a sub) I have heard nothing but good things about HSU subs. |
