I think it sounds different because its ALOT faster durring the lives, thats usually how it works.
I do agree that it sounds very different from the lives, but i think its from the very noticeable speed difference.

ive heard the full album, all i can say is, everyone - prepare for a new diru. they are still excellent. i was worried about this album, but let me assure you - this album is great.

I disagree. lol. Half of the album is crap. But a small bit is good. Maybe it's just because I don't like metal, but the guitars are pretty bland in a lot of songs and Kyo's voice is obviously not quality in most of it. I miss the bass lines as well. There is maybe two tiny ones, but that's it. IMO, the band doesn't show off it's talent with the new album, minus a few select songs.

The album is much greater than i expected!! It's awesome!! in the last albums there were always 1 or 2 songs which i dun like too much.. but all tracks of this album r great!! I do appreciate their changes... they r always improving... withering to death is better than vulgar.. and now this The Marrow of a Bone is better than the Withers!
