Excellent video. I'm aware of what kind of mechanisms it takes to make a semi automatic weapon fully automatic (I'm studying to be an engineer). You're common street thug doesn't have access to the tools, materials or knowledge to do such a thing. Your right it is not illegal. but the paperwork is so extensive and expensive most citizens will never have one. The cost to get the liscence you would need (FFL)(Federal Firearms Liscence) is close to $15,000 if I remember right. Knob Creek isnt a very good example since most of the people there with them are gun dealers with FFL's who let others shoot them for profit, but they do sell those guns there too, but anyone looking to buy one would have to have an FFL and enough money to get one.

just so that people can realize how much a fully-automatic firearm would cost, i have a story...
When I was getting my M1 Garand from a gun dealer i was bored when the paperwork was being filed, so i started looking around the store and i saw in some bins what looked like Steyr AUG magizines. So i asked if they were, the gun dealer said hold on and walks out with a never-shot AUG he bought in the 80's
cost of a Never-shot AUG $16,000

I would doubt it. I would be very surprised if Vet./Current military personel were given discounts on owning automatic firearms. The only possible situation i can think of was if you owned a private security company and needed that much firepower. But I, again, would be very surprised to hear of discounts on that sort of a liscence.
