Making an instrument like this wouldn't really cost that much money (compared to some), at least not if you just wanted the basic instruments and not the whole fancy machine to raise/lower various floating instruments in mid-air.
Most of the cost of an instrument is the workings that go into its base, especially expensive woods or detail work. More than likely wouldn't go aver 5-15k to make the thing in the video without all the movable parts, and programming a song in would be easy enough.
