I didn't think critics of the bible still use that argument.He was not the Solar Messiah of the Gnostic Christian sect Jesus is a 1st century figure the Gnostic Christians lived around the 2nd century, Josephus mentions jesus in his writings he lived in the time of jesus, Tacitus lived in jesus day and mentions his crucifixion The historical community is quite sure that a person named Jesus did live in the Middle East two thousand years ago

Josephus's account is a forgery.
Tacitus speaks only of the KRST, Christ, which is a Greek title meaning annointed one.
Jesus is not only a pagan Sun-God, he is an amalgamation of many pagan Sun-Gods worshiped in the Roman Mystery Cults, Mithra, Horus, et al. and Dionysus or Bacchus of wine and harvests.

The are certain parts of josephus that my be interpolations but scholars believe that the bulk of josephus's material about jesus is authentic plus tacitus mentions that jesus had been executed in Tiberius' reign by the governor of Judea, PONTIUS PILATUS The new testament speaks of pilate as while, plus tacitus wrote that nero punished the christians and that christ is "their originator". jesus has nothing to do with mithra, Horus, dionysus they were used to expalin the seasonal changes

I am a 38 y/o female US National (not living in the US). My race is irrelevant. Malcolm X is a US National hero! He was the one and only person in the US political history who stood up and told the truth. I am sorry that when I went to school, we learned about many others, but Malcolm X was a footnote in our studies. I hope current/future generations get better that what we did. There's not much hope if they don't.

Apparently the fools who navigated to this page---posting debates about religion---ignored Malcolm X's plea in his "Ballot or the Bullet" speech to leave the religion at home and keep it in the closet. Islam, Christianity, and Judaism all originated in the Middle East, not the Caucasus mountains, which is where the Caucasians live. If you're referring to "white" people often mis-identified as caucasians, then that is a broad term for the many different races of people from parts of Europe. The Middle East has always been the focal point of the world, which is why so many focus on the religions the originate from there. Abraham was Hebrew (Not caucasian); Muhamad was Arab (not caucasian)

I am talking about the region of the Iberians, somewhere along the line referred to as "the Middle East". My whole point was missed. No one (except for the indigenous peoples of the so-called 'planet Earth') knows a world outside of the recent (compared to human history) timeline created by the dominant religions/books of the ruling elite/conquerors. Somewhere along the line, distortion ushered in a hyper-masculine, hyper-aggressive, one-sided view of 'creation' and other topics which are CURRENTLY deemed 'offensive'. Much knowledge was erased (including languages) and replaced with 'other' teachings.
