they weren't flying; Their "ground" mode had extreme aerodynamic designing, to cut down on drag. When Bumblebee was blown upside down, if you watch closely, you can see wheels under there. And BTW, remember the Aerialbots?

The film was good too, it actually got the story straight along with the cartoon.
