Well, it is cause people can't relate to jazz. Only musicians can really. Sad. Kenny G plays simply stuff that people think sounds good, instead of stuff like portrait of tracy, wich honestly doesn't sound extremely good to me, wich is actually a great composition. I'm learning it at the moment, and it's not as easy as it may sound.

No no, you misunderstood. Theree is no way i am going to compare Slipknot, KoRn, Metallica etc. to the master Jaco Pastorius. First of all it is not possible to compare musicians to each other when they reach a certain level. You can say who play fastest etc., but you cannot say who is best. That's one mans own opinion: Although i would say Jaco Pastorius was a better musician than any of the other mentioned above, it is still hard to really compare them.

I have to say that I prefer Kenny G to Weather Report. This song doesn't have much of a "tune" and the clarinet (or is it a sax) reminds of the noise that cats make when they face off to each other.

Well, thank you very much. It really is true. Now if we take lets say Dennis Chambers and Joey Jordison, who is best? It isn't really possible to answer that. Joey can play fast like hell, but Dennis can do all that technical stuff and triplets etc.
They're both great, but it still isn't possible to say who's better.
Now i believe i have written enough times for everyone to understand: It isn't possible to compare musicians.
