uh hello, estupidas: war war is stupid...he's singing from a young person's perspective. at this point in time Culture Club were at the zenith of popularity and had influenced anything under 15yrs old. People are stupid because they cause war (the adults) and in some regions of the world love means nothing...thus 'in some strange borders.' I was a teen when this song came out...even I got the message then. This was their political statement to the world. Every artist has one.

Wow, what a deep video. Let's see the USSR was around back then, guess we should have just laid down, this video is stupid! Unfortunately war is a tool when diplomacy fails, but people who are content in their simple lives and night clubs really don't comprehend all of that. Either that or it's just easy to make yet another anti-war song and put some more money in the check book! I think it's probably both! I liked Boy George better as a drag queen, he's repulsive looking now, don't you think?

The War In Iraq comes down to factors that have NOTHING to do with "Freedom," tyranical leaders, or even diplomacy. Bush & Co knew BETTER THAN ANYONE that Sadaam was bullshitting the world with his claims of having "weapons of mass destruction." Bush & Co could have isolated Iraq like they did Cuba, and things would have taken care of themselves over time....

The reasons the US is in Iraq???It's called STOCK PRICES and STOCKHOLDER GREED. Bechtel, Carlyle, HALLIBURTON, WorldCom... Bush&Co have waged a war on the US taxpayer. Bush&Co goes into Iraq,bills US taxpayers, and the world gets to watch HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS go right into the pocketbooks of the aforementioned companies and their stockholders.
At least Culture Club fans had a CHOICE to fund the band.

I havent seen this since it was new. Does anyone remember the first time you saw his hair color?? It was never seen before so RED like that and I LOVED it. It was really cool. I sorta remember this song NOT being on the radio for too long, because of complaints that George called people "stupid" ~ give me a break the song is a great song and hey...war does suck!!
