To "chevyvictor": The Neville Brothers received a NAACP Image Award for this song and for their life-long work for social justice. There are a few folk songs (anemic style) that reference the bus boycott, and Hip-Hop genre references to Ms. Parks. This song represents an historical event. Others may allude to the event. That doesn't take away from this song.
