From 1948 till 1973 Arabs had huge advantage in numbers, equipment and outside help. Before Brits left region they softened jewish defense by.. confiscating weapon, limiting jewish immigration. On other hand brits equipped and train Arab legion. Afterward Arabs sold out to Soviets for very generous help. Not only Soviets give out the most modern weapon and train they actually fought Israel for arabs.
