Thabo Mbeki is the Pres. of South Africa not Zimbabwe. The problem in Zim is between Zanu-PF and the MDC. other people, interest groups, countries etc. are just supporters or sympathizers of either the MDC or Zanu-PF. But Pres Mbeki is the mediator- he is supposed to be neutral, this position does not allow him to support Zanu or MDC but Zimbabweans. The problems between Zanu-PF and MDC have been going on for years, the only thing left is civil war, but sitting down and talk will not just stop the war but take Zimbabwe back to the top where she belongs. Zanu-PF and MDC have, for years, been talking over each other.. Pres.Mbeki has been instrumental in anumber of conflicts in Africa- i'm talking about real African civil wars.Interference is no good.
