From several programs I have seen, I'm yet to see the awareness you mention. All is about catching (by hurting and traumatazing) the biggest cococrile, the longest snake, the weirdest creature, and this: getting a sweat sample of a wild hippo. What for? Why measuring a cocodrile by hurting them with strong steel wire catchers? Everything is a show for people to see how "brave" he is. No awareness anywhere on my sight at least.
