Too bad it was the theme song for a crappy movie. I think it would have a much greater legacy were it not for that fact.
A giant pile of bad acting, miscasting, stereotypes, unlikely stunts, and cliches.
Evidence - was there a Young Guns 3? No, and the world is a better place because of it.

I don't think it really should be taken as seriously as you seem to take it...
And I don't think they even wanted to do a 'Young Guns III', even if it -for me, a fan- would be totally, frickin awesome.
