One reason was after WWII the british were literally broken economically, and they ceased to exist as world super power and infact they had to borrow from USA to keep their economy going and US+USSR emerged as world power. in this situation the best thing for british were to cut loose and run their ass off leaving the vast India in chaos and thats why there were partition of India. got it?

No, I do not. After 1945 the European Colonial Empires had been dismantled and replaced by USA and USSR Colonial Empires. Without support from USA and USSR, India would had never gained her independence without a large scale armed struggle. Wrong........ Chandragupta Maurya was actually captured by Alexander's General Selucus Nicetor. Chandragupata fled from his captor and then went on to defeat Nanda to found the Maurya dynasty. After Alexanders death, Selucus Nicator formed his kingdom in Bactria(Mordern Northern Afghanistan).
Later, Chandragupta (Sandrokkatos for greeks) defeated Selucus Nicator, and married his daughter.
