And what would you say to the atheist? And If you believe in God, and that God is directly influencing the nature of the universe just to torment "his" creation, then yes that would be a reasonable question. These situations are "Man's", God had nothing to do it.

My God, it is heartbreaking to see these awful images, and know that there is not very much we can do, but to give where we can. I have this song on one of my CD's and I have the movie it was sang in, "Imitation of Life." Mahalia Jackson is my favorite all time female gospel singer of all time. I have all of her music.
Praise God, the trouble of the world will soon be over one day, and all suffering to go with it.
