| Nessun dorma isn´t sad nor inspiring. It means "nobody shall sleep". Is the opera "Turandot" from Puccini. An unknown prince(his real name is Calaf) answers correctly the 3 readles and Turandot refuses to marry him. So he challenges her to find out his real name before sunrise. If she brings the name, she wins and decapitate Calaf. If she doesnt, then she will have to marry. Turandot commands that night nobody in the court sleeps until someone bring the name of the foreign unknown prince. |
