I have been to his concert. The program was Beethoven's 7th symphony. The way he conducts was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. No other conductor can do in the way Kleiber did.

Mein lieber endow85, habe hier mal ein bissel auf deine Sequenzerln geguckt. Tut mir leid, Du hast keine Ahnung von dem, was hier gespielt wird und warum ein Dirigent sein muss. Natürlich kann ein Weltklasseorchester eine Beethovensinfonie halbwegs ohne Dirigent spielen, wenn der Konzertmeister die Auftakte gibt, aber eine Persönlichkeit wie Kleiber holt noch unendlich viel mehr raus. Glaub mir, gegen einen Takt Beethoven, mit allen Nuancen gespielt, sind 1000 Gb Vienna Library Kinderkacke.

I have just discovered this man, 4 years after his passing! Wow! I am really moved! Beautiful. Especially in his youth, but certainly not taking anything away from the man he grew to be, he was particularly engaging and artistic in his movements. I see he is not using a score!?! Now I must look up every video and read more about him! xo!

Kleiber è stato davvero uno dei punti di riferimento della musica classica nella seconda metà dello scorso secolo.
