I think they never showed Danny Tidwell's audition because Danny would've looked too good.
Danny Tidwell was horribly overqualified for SYTYCD, which basically is a show for mostly aspiring student type semi-professional dancers, not for a highly accomplished professional like Danny was. You can see why Danny's appearance on SYTYCD caused some stir in the ballet world.
