Koci was getting the upper hand and Barch had his jersey over his head, so I think the linesmen did the right thing. Zebras were lucky they didn't take one in the chops breaking it up, though.

Yes exactly that. They only stop them if someone is getting battered or if it goes to the ice cos skate blades are dangerous. The fighting prevents more serious injuries from revenge cheap shots, it gets sorted then it's over.
