look im in north texas and i remember! how annoying it was to hear about it days later! you people came into texas and hogged it for weeks and held up local events in austin and its like this oooh oooooh no nope cant have the so and so because katrina victims and reda victims are STILL HERE using that building as a shelter!!!! repair yourselves like florida does after a storm and quit whining already! that was three years ago people its any hurricane get over it you were ill prepared for it!

It's sad that the US can send aid to all other countries but couldn't do it for New Oreleans! It's a shame and disgrace how those people were left stranded with no food, no water, and no home! And what really got me is how one woman husband had died right in her arms I think because of dehydration. And as of today, that city has probably not seen that much improvement, but I could be wrong.

yeah ok, this is sad but it's funny that this get's so much attention, but people in africa who are in hunger for 100's of years will neverget this type of attention. it's just not fair. Millions die of poverty in Africa/Asia and other poverty stricken places. It's not fair that these people who always lived a good life will get so much publicity whereas our brothers and sisters in other places in the world would kill to get this much attention, so they would be helped.
