Yes, {**blush!**} Shiko is playing my guitar here, a Parker "FLY MOJO" (in a now discontinued color). Shiko loves my Parker and has vowed to buy himself one. You can also see him playing the Parker Fly Mojo in that little clip called "Shiko makes "Rosa" look so easy", here on YouTube. By the way one of the secrets of this music seems to be the heavy strings. There's a 13-gauge first-string on this guitar, #2 is a 17-gauge, and it's onward and upward from there - !!

(ha-ha - me too! But by the way this really, truly was a sound check. Notice how Isaac calls to the engineer at the start, ordering more ampification of the Conga drums. This was recorded at the "What'z so Funny?" Comedy Club and Sports Bar, What'z So Funny Comedy Club And Sports Bar, Jersey City, New Jersey - but it's not like they have this music there all the time. Unfortunately, these performances are rare...

Do you have the CD snad DVDs for these guys and do they ever perform in the UK? I grew up with this music. My dad worked with some of these guys and they used to come and reherse at our house in Kampala before going off to Nairobi to record or perform.
