The Cubans didn't steal any land, they just took back what was theirs.
Communism failed because of shortages and lack of freedom. Capitalism will fail because too few are taking too much. However, the economic systems in Denmark and Netherlands are fine examples of a civilized social/economic policy.

Your coworker must be of Cuban descent, otherwise he probably broke the law. If you have a passport, read it and it will say that you are prohibited from visiting Cuba. The embargo on cuba is *ILLEGAL* and if it's true that the exiles are responsible for it, then they're only doing it to get properly lost from the revolution.
