Slobodan Milosevic or Radovan Karadzic sent a 'fatwa' against Arkan, as Arkan was becoming too famous and popular was on the road to be the new leader of Serbia or serbian repubic in Bosnia. Or by Radovan Karadzic himself who didn't want Arkan to testify against him at the war crimes tribunal. Anyhoo he was killed by his fellow Serbs
