Its amazing how muslim men jump on the ban-wagon when it comes to polygamy. But the matter of the fact is only a few men can uphold such a responsibility, not any average charecter. And as for sunnah, well, Ild like to see polygamist demonstrate such conviction to other acts of sunnah in every day life. Please dont pick and choose according to your desires yas78687.

people quickly try to say most people can't treat their wives justly. if thats the case then they should not have any children either, as you also have the responsibility to treat your children equally and justly. so please educate yourself before you speak, esp since you seem so blindly offensive on the matter. as well as seeming as a hypocrite. I wonder if you concern as much on if every parent has a right to have a child, based on whether they are treating their children equally and justly.

There is some truth to your comment as far as some of the Musims who have more than 1 wives not following other Sunnah.
Overwhelming majority has one wife, so you're entirely wrong when you say Muslim man jump to it. That's an exxgeration. We have to the right to take more than one wife, but vast majority of us do not do. But what is so bad about having more than one wife? The women have their rights, the man have their rights, if a husband is violating the rights she can seek divorce.
