Never noticed that happening on the 10 pc's I have on my LAN here at the house? I have everything from an old Celeron 700 Mhz w/256 RAM & 64 MB Geforce2MX up to an AMD Athlon64 X2 5200 w/2 Gigs RAM & 512 MB Radeon 3870HD and everyone plays Halo 1 on the LAN with no lag??? Granted the lower spec machines have some of the graphics settings SLIGHTLY lowered, but they maintain good FPS even with everyone onscreen at once.

id say pretty crap considering the amount of ram required. but if you turn all the settings down to the point that it looks like 1942 then maybe

Easily. My old packard bell laptop from 2002 can run Unreal Tournament with 256MB Ram and 32MB graphics card with no lag at all.
