personal preference man.. ther is no right or wrong on that... some people like a full out 90 degrees.. others like to site high so that there heels are really touching the heel plate.. for me.. i choose in the middle of my examples

the technique isnt called the gravity blast, the technique may be called the one handed roll, but its actually a part of the gravity blast.....just add 16th on the kicks and some cymbal stuff, and you have a gravity blast ;)

ah not really a blast, it becomes a blast when you play something with the kickdrum too.
without anything else, it's called the freehand roll.
