Thats really jeff on drums, listen to the fill ins on the first part of the song and all the fill ins throughout the segment and thats jeff's signature sound. Also watch the movie Give My Regards to Broadstreet by McCartney and go to the end credits and its written there its jeff and lukather who played in this tune. If you could stil find coz its way back in 1984. Check it out.

for those who thought Mark King played this gig, look at the color of the fingers, that is defenitly Louis Johnson, nobody plays the bass like him, King has to spend the rest of his live in the sun to get that brown, altough he's one of my favorits, I like Johnson the most. Looking foreward to the BASS-BATTLE at april 10-Ahoy, Rotterdam...I'll be there, front line; Classics of Soul with my hero's !!! I love this version better than the original and not just because Jeff was on drums. This one seemed to have more life and a groovier beat. I think this may have to go into my faves.

it is always great to see master musicians working together, sorry they couldnt do more great stuff like this, my only problem is that mj wannabe, wish somebody trow a rock at him or something, the show was cool enough and he kind of turn it into a comedy show.

Jeff Porcaro is (not was) a revered session drummer, considered by many to be one of the greatest drummers of all time (myself included). You'd probably know him more as the drummer/founder of Toto.
