Pershkrimi videos:Dhool is a traditional instrument that is played solo as well as in combination with Shehnai etc. Zulfiqar Ali Malangi Dhooli Jut is a team of seasoned musicians. Some of them play Dhool and some Shehnai. They are regular performers at Punjab Lok Boli Mela.
Punjab Lok Sujag is an organization working for the social uplift of people of Punjab since 1984. The language rights of the people of Punjab are the area of interest and activities for us. To celebrate the richness of our mother tongue and to discuss the varied issues attached with its development, we organized a festival -- Punjab Lok Boli Mela every year since 2004. In 2007 it will be held in "Jaranwala" district Fasialabad from 23rd to 27th November. It is being dedicated to our freedom fighter "Bhagat Sing" and will be staged near his home town.

Don't get me wrong -- they play dhol very beautifully, excellent....we should recognize however that while this may be great nonetheless it is not the "traditional Punjabi culture" in the usual sense. This is a new style (a few decades old) which may be becoming a new tradition in Pakistan.
For hultonclint, mate you've got no idea so stop posting stupid comments. You sound like the typical daler mehndi or englandi who when plays two basic dhol taals starts calling himself a dholi.
This my friend is the real deal. Keep it up.
!!!!!!!!LONG LIVE THE DHOL!!!!!!!
