Tell you what, it depends on how able or not you are to adapt to the physical stress and fatigue. At first, more than once a week is pushing it, depending on again that ability to cope with fatigue, but later on, I would say add an additional attempt, that's how I did it anyway. Make sure you're doing all the exercises properly. You will be slow at first so don't sweat it. Maintain perfect form and you will get faster a it. The point of this workout is to compete with yourself. Time yourself.

The most time consuming portions of this sequence are the pull ups. Work on them long enough and you can get all 25 in a row, always performing the exercise's full range of motion. The other most time consuming exercise are the box jumps, as most people are not used to so many in a row and become easily fatigued. Working on those two segments will get your time down a lot, and no I'm not bullshitting you I got it in about 13:20, that was my best time.

guys please listen that workout was created so that the 300 cast could get ripped faster, so do this workout 3 days a week, and do your usual workouts as well, the 300 workout is for tonning and shaping not for building big muscles, you need to combine this workout with a normal workout and diet plus sleep then you will be ripped as hell, this workout isnt easy for beginners because the goal is to complete everything in 20 minutes,the 300 workout is better then treadmill and more effective

i dont know if you know this but toning is a widely misused word. people think toning means define your muscle but if you want to see definition just lose the overall body fat. your muscles grow bigger and get smaller, stronger and weaker. thats it. theres no toning or shaping unless you wanna get into surgery. this workout is meant as cardio and muscle building those guys werent tiny in the movie this excercise builds muscle like all excercises and also drops fat extremely fast

as its not a HUGE muscle builder because of the amount of cardio and light weights used vs actual weight lifting//training it still builds your muscle but it drops your body fat much faster than weight lifting//training. its like one big cardio workout involving weights

but you are right when you say ripped faster because doing this three times a week (by the way i think they were supposed to do the whole workout in half an hour) will rip you good beacuse you would lose body fat like your getting liposuction 3 times a week.

yes they werent tiny, because they included split body parts routine as well as this tonning workout or fat burning workout, also most of the 300 cast where already going to the gym and were athletic the directors didnt just choose 300 slobs they chose men already in decent shape, the only guy that had to work really hard is the main actor. 300 workout is just like the workout ufc fighters use for stamina and condition its also called circuit workout, you will drop fat faster if you run as well

oh dont get me wrong i seen videos of them on youtube working out they didnt just do this workout. they did this strictly for fat reducing. they had other workouts they did to actually get bigger.

i superset with each muscle group with 3 exercises and do it 3 times, on top of that i run for 12 minutes burning 200+ calories then 4 exercise supersets for 1 set and I do 4 sets of that...sad to say I am not ripped, am i cursed or something??

christ your are all dumbasses. this wasnt the workout they followed every training session, this was their final crucible workout testing how much stronger they got over the course of training. I feel bad for your central nervous system if you actually perform this workout multiple times per week, that is asking for overtraining and injury. and all this talk about toning is all crap, eat cleaner and bodyfat drops. too many stupid people and nobody to eat them

No, actually this is bullshit. I'm sure most of these exercises were in the actors' routines, but there is no one "real" 300 Workout. The trainers had slightly different tailored regiments for each actor that they modified as they went.

i did this workout for 2 months with my super fitness class. hard ass work takes the average person about 20-40 minutes depending on the shape they are in. but no matter how big or strong u are believe me the 300 workout is deadly to everyone but pays u off great with health and physique
