Damn i remmember the first time i ran in a steeplechase. i was so used to running 5k's right out of cross country season, that i didnt really know how to run a steeplechase. the jumps get so tiring after a while when you dont pase yourself right

This race is 2 Miles-200m. Same as the 2 Miles commonly run here in U.S., only difference is that you run 71/2 Laps over barriers instead of 8 Laps.

I think the Kenyans are so good, due to the fact that they just run tones of miles, no work outs until they are close to their 20s, and that gives them a massive aerobic base.

Kenya could as well sweep the 2008 Beijing Olympics. THe only guy who could deny us gold (or the sweep for that matter) is Saif Saeed Shaheen, formerly Stephen Cherono of Kenya. HE runs for Qatar. THere is also another Kenyan Shami Mubarak who runs for BAhrain.
We have the 1. Ezekiel Kemboi 2. Brimin Kipruto 3. Richard Kipkemboi Mateloong and a reserve, Paul Kipsiele Koech.
Take Mateloong out and bring Koech and we are with it.

as a 6'2, 255 pound canadian white boy, i wish i was those Kenyans. I have been trying to get my ass in shape training for the RCMP and running 20 minutes of the treadmill and they way i run on the treadmill, they could walk it
