Well I'm a girl of 20 and I'm mad of Python! In fact I AM stark raving mad - Mental sanity seems to be an overrated virtue these days.
Is Python male humour? Good question... Maybe females find it harder to let go and lose their grip on rationality. (but I also know many boys insensible to MP)
Oh I'll never get enough of Spectrum. It actually does make sense, it asks the right questions. Really. Meaning is hopeless - Beckett, in another vein.

I think Stoneresp makes a fair point. Most girls under 30 won't find this funny. However, quite a large majority (including me) find it absolutely frikkin' hilarious! How a man can talk that fast without mucking up is beyond me!

Believe it or not, all the girls in my school LOVED Monty Python including me and the boys weren't really that into it. In one class we got to watch all the Monty Python movies and nothing ever, ever will top Monty Python!

I think that appreciation of Monty Python really has nothing to do with gender. It has to do with how willing you are to engage in humour so intelligent that most people wouldn't be able to think it up themselves. And I also appreciated the comment about rationality being an overrated virtue.
