That wuz a wig dear! On Tv tribute to him recently? Yes, he's still tryin to b hip & fit in..He's still a bit shy,especially now,since we saw him in Concert in San Jose, Ca. last Sat.He's got some upper bone problms,oseo? Soo, that didn't help things, but he was able to get us up & dancing! Still good!

I watched it again and got something different. these days are returning. they may not be as big but they are happening all over in the truth movement, a big outdoor concert and bbq was held at the Ed and Elaine's house in New Hampshire, it is good to see the people comming togather in mass again.

It wasn't until the 1980's the USDA subsidized the great increase of corn (nobody was eating it!) so lo and behold, a great way to use it is put IT'S SUGAR (High-Fructose CORN SYRUP) in almost every packaged food we eat. Look it up folks, even HERE on YouTube- it's why over half of North Americans are obese!!!

Since Sly's performance took place at night, there's no footage of the crowd since the only lights available were focused on the band on stage. But Sly and the band put on a great, great set at Woodstock and it's a shame the producers and directors of the film have never bothered to release in full the entire Sly and the Family stone set.

Some contemporary critics found a fascist element to the performance- the call and response exhortation, mass-mind element in contrast to the John Sebastian 'like, far out'
'gettin our heads together in the country'
(G.O.H.T.I.T.C.) esthetic.
Maybe an understandable mistrust of herd mentality and personality cults.
(Sly is my all-time favorite musicmaker).
