Obama did just that, taking Virginia (1st time since 1964), North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico.AND now even an electoral vote is coming out of Nebraska for Obama!!! (Nebraska gives out electoral votes proportionately).
Republicans are being relegated to being a regional southern party as the West breaks for the Democrats.

You can argue that black people mostly voted for him because he was a black man. If that's the case - who cares? If your people were forced into slavery, and had to fight year after year to be equal, would you not vote your own race when he could become president?
