well i think that the late NFAK could sing as best as Sabri or even better then Sabri's but i do believe that Sabri's were Sabri's and NFAK was NFAK u cannot compare them they both were including Aziz Mian unique and uncompareable.

One small criticism if I have of NFAK is that he sold his voice and I personally felt that alot of the respect that I had for him disappeared. Don't get me wrong, he was wonderful with his qawali's etc but, as my dad said to me NFAK was jack of all trades and Sabri Bros were masters at what they did...

i agree with you mas, nfak was indeed a very talented artist and he deserved all the respect he got, i wasn't too keen on his entering bollywood. I suppose all the qawwals are unique in what they do.

PLEASE HELP
I've been looking for a song I had about 8 years ago on cassette which was (possibly?)an indian version of this qawaali but was sung like a ghazal.The lyrics are "Saqia aur pila aur pila aur pila.Mere saqi mujhe tanha tu choR ro lu mein,jaam ashkon ka aaj tu bhar bhar ke pila"
I have been looking for this song for 8 years and can't find it anywhere on the net or in any store in the UK or Lahore and elsewhere in Pakistan.
Please reply to this post if you know who it is sung by.
