Das Lied ist inzwischen auch in neueren Versionen aufgenommen.
Dabei steht nicht mehr die Apartheid im Mittelpunkt der Kritik, sondern die Zustände in ZA:
Korruption, AIDS, Stammesfehden, Arbeitslosugkeiut, Kriminalität.
Das Lied ist aber Zeitlos schön, selbst ohne Text, und Eddie hat damit eine Ohrwurm gelandet, der sich auch heute noch festfrisst...
