I can't do the ladder jump @ 02:47, when I push left she jumps sidewards and when I push down she climbs the ladder dowm. How can I jump backwards from the ladder?

im stuck just after this bit, I have to say im annoyed at my self for looking up the walk through but im so bored of the fuckin game . . 60% in and not shot 1 person its puzzle puzzle puzzle puzzle and kinda gets old. I got to this water bit and just thought fuck this lol.
