Why Does Everyone Complain About The Pops And Cracks? Thats Easily Fixed By Vinyl Cleaners Or Those Dust Wipe Things That Take Static And Dust Off...Even If I Couldn't Get Rid Of the Pops And Cracks, I Don't Mind. Now, Let Me See A Cd Last For 100 Years Or So..I'll Take The Vinyl Any Day!!

it is sad to see a friend being destroyed by drugs, i have that experience.Sadly Barret was a victim of the nieve ignorance of his entire generation, that makes him a martyr but not a genious.The fact is that he couldnt be able to develop his talent to that level like the other band members and its ridiculous that people praise him like some kind of musical hero or god. He was a leading figure, a very cherised friend and a strongly charismatic character, but not a great songwriter or musician.

Syd is probably the worst singer,guitarist and lyricist in the whole history of rock music.His fingers were clumsy,bumping,crashing constantly against the strings,he could barely tune his guitar.His lyrics were frivolous fantasies about pets,panty sniffers, bikes, fairy tales and other banalities.His voice dull,emotionally numb,had annoying raw tone and lacked any kind of matice or inflection.NOthing he ever did was original or propositive,just continued a long tradition of folky blues wannabes
