yeah, easy for you to say, you obviously speak english and maybe french as well. but imagine, there are people who don't and - omg how lazy are they? - they rather want to watch dubbed movies than having to read subtitles throughout the whole movie. ever considered that?

I am from Denmark so my french is not perfect no neither is my english. But i think its a shame to this great french movie into a language like german. I would understand better if it was into English then more people would understand the movie. But i would rather just have people hear it in french and then read the subtitles, yes. And yes i think it is lazy not to learn other languages.. But i just like movies to be in original lanuguage. I think dubbing it ruins the whole movie. -Christophe

it's lazy not to learn other languages??? oh dear, sounds like if you don't speak at least 3 different languages you don't deserve to understand a movie... i think it's on the people to decide whether they want to watch a dubbed movie or one with subs. If people think it's a shame for a french movie to be dubbed in german, then they can look for the original. everyone else might me quite happy with the dubbing.
btw i think there are even more important things than languages, and i study three.

in light of recent comments, maybe it is lazy to not try to understand any other language, but there are so many languages out there, it's impossible to learn them all. there are over 300 spoken in the US alone. However, I do like listenening to the movie in its original language with subtitles if I don't understand it. We watched this movie in my french class, so the whole point was to hear french.
Having said that, This is a beautiful song!

Thank you so much for putting this great video online!! The music is so amazing.
Since we started to watch the first half of the film during our last french lesson just before the start of the summer holidays I'm tied up from the beautiful melodies which the boys sing with such a joy.
I can't stop thinking about this brilliant work. I hope that I can continue watching this extraordinary flim soon.

this movie gets so sad at the end. i didnt understand what was going on well because i don't know that much french, but it looked like that teacher was fired or something and they were all separated. by the way it ends, it could have as well been based on real life

Tcha, so ist das Leben, nichts bleibt, wie es ist. Aber warum sollte er sich wegen des Stimmbruchs nicht mehr der Musik widmen können? Das machen ja Tausende andere auch.. mit mehr oder weniger Erfolg zwar, aber dennoch.. Hast du auch dieses, sagen wir mal, "Problem"? Du bist ja auch erst 15 Jahre alt, schreibst du jedenfalls. Ich würde mich jedenfalls nicht von der Musik abhalten lassen, nur wegen des Stimmbruchs. Da gibts so viele Möglichkeiten, was zu tun...
