Broken arms are common in TKD when blocking kicks. Also, the concept is when your blocking your not countering. Of course you can't counter everything, then again you can't block everything either. Oh and often depending on where the judges are, they will still score a blocked shot

block is only a last measure thing... you are more likely to break your arm or hands blocking... at why footwork is so important in Taekwondo..... I should 6 year veteran and 2nd dan

People throw so many roundhouse kicks, believe it or not I try not to throw to many roundhouse kicks, well I do but not massive ammounts. My favorite kick is the back pivot kick (dwee chagee), you can be both offensive and defensive with the kick.

Overall Olympics matchs (2008) have been very boring. I beleive TKD is in Jeopardy and may be amongst the sports getting out in 2012...

what the helle are u talking about...TKD in beijing was very boring its true but its because of the referees...but in athens its was really spetacular...its should stay in 2012... If u dont know the sport i think u should just shut up

20+yrs of practicing, making national team and coaching on all level etc gives some weight to my opinion. Ref don't kick, players do... don't tell me match 0-0 in overtime round is exciting. Even Athen wasn't that great, you need a highlight reel like this one to really appreciate. If it was boring to me, imagine the general audience that know nothing about TKD. For whatever reasons Overall TKD @ the Olympics was boring, I wish I could say otherwise but that's the bottom line.
