It's easy to call her stupid, but keep in mind she's a 14 year old girl.. A hormonal, lonely, young teenager seeking acceptance, not exactly a tough target. She was probably very gullible and it's the same reason online predators are able to get into their minds. Keep that in mind before you get all judgmental about her falling for it. That said she'll probably get over it quicker than she thinks too, since your teen years aren't the most important years of your life.

well right now i've been followed around by a cyber bully for about 8 months. I've stood up too him and he's quite the sore loser over it. I recently got him suspended over his harassment and now he's messaging my friends and asking people personal questions about me. He says he knows where I live and that he's going to soon get my phone number. I can't report him into youtube because after he harasses me he closes the account he uses

you & your friends should just ignore him.he cant get your details unless ur friends give it to him... which of course they should not. if the abuse is so bad, you can file a police report.save all the messages he sends you and your friends. but i would only do that as a last resort. ring your local cyber-bullying help-line for more information.

K. I have been considering the police report...But I think i won't let it come to that unless he somehow does get my phone number. I think my friends are smart enough to not give out my number to someone they don't know,but this situation I'm in really makes me uncomfortable. if no one responds to him, he will eventually give up. it sounds to me like he is scared or a kid, especially if he keeps closing a/c's. just ask your friends on myspace to put their profiles on private so only friends can view them and block the person on you-tube. good luck. it will pass. just don't think about it. the person does not know you and cannot contact you.

it's ok. sometimes things escalate more than you expect. ur friends won't judge you. this is something you can deal with. i had a cyber-bully on hi5 b4 they had security and i just had to close my a/c and remove all my friends incase my bully contacted them. if you restrict your pg to friends & simply say someone is stalking you & would they plz not send out ur personal info, they will understand.

yeah it's what I'm going to try to do. I don't think he understands that if he gets my phone number and tries to call it that he can pretty much get in trouble,since I have record of his comments saying he was going to find my number against my will and then harass me,so if it comes to the worst case scenario...his plan looks like it'll easily backfire

Believe me, combating cyberbullying is not easy. I've dealt with them, and one of my rules is simple: If you're gonna communicate with me, no matter what your opinions are, you MUST show respect or you can't communicate with me.
If only she did that exact same thing or similar to that.
