And Secondly, Rumi didn't even live in Iran. He lived almost his entire Life in Anatolia. Hence, he is called "Rumi". (Rumi is the Farsi/Persian of the word 'Roman'). He spoke Persian, same as Afghans today speaks Persian (Dari).

I kinda agree with you but the fact is that the culture of rumi, his language, and him himself was persian. and the only nationality that consider themselves persian at the current time are Iranians.
and any of these countries that consider themselves the owner of rumi or ferdosi or any other thing that they can take over, first should be able to put a "Balkh University" in persian language in their city and consider them slef persian to truely be able to claim they are from persia

Balk will never have a Persian university as Afghans dont identify with the term Persian. Modern Iranians have changed the word Persian so that it no longer means what it meant originally. Now persian just means Iranian.

to Lonblivepalestine: yes, unfortunately that is true! only few Iranians truly respect the Afghans as Iranians. many Afghans also do not treat Iranians any better though! however, the most number of Afghan refugees stayed in Iran during all those years of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. a slight correction here: Iran is the vast area of land where both Persia and Afghanistan are situated. it is a common mistake by the West to call the entire area as Persia.

Afghans don't Iranians better because many Afghans are Sunnis/Wahabbis and they hate Iranians simply for the fact that they are Shi'a.
