Russia made little to no advance until north america joined in, yes they did one hell of alot of stuff and keep the nazi force away. But america made a big advance russia couldnt of done it without America and other allied forces and america couldnt of done it with out Russia and the rest of the USSR

battle of stalingrad lasted for 200 days, it wasnt just winter. BTW the german soldiers were far better equipped than the russian. BTW the winter in germany is as cold as in western russia. actually, a source i hear, is stalin exaggerated how little men he lost. some sources say as many as 35 million russian civillians and as many soldiers died, in other words 1 in 3 died, and several million ukrainians, lithuanians etc. and mao zedong, sent a force of 7 million chinese from the northn provinces while he stemmed the japanese and only a third of the 7 million chinese returned. while hitler lost 3-5 million germans, but his allies lost at least as many as well including civillians.

the russian winter defeated nazi germany, you know that you biased commie fucker. German guns froze in the winter and they were NOT equipped for a war in winter. the 'mighty' communists did not defeat the germans, you just got lucky having a severe winter, plus the fact it was about 5 million versus 500,000 and the germans still kicked the shit out of the russians. All i can say is that the russians are lucky the yanks and british joined in on the western front.

i can definetely tell you the amount of russian dead is much more than 10 million, just like in every war they say less were killed then in reality. they say only 2 million died at stalingrad, 1 million being civilians. however stalingrad population at the time was 3 million then dropped to 800,000 similar to leningrad. plus dead soldiers. so the math the red army gave does not add properly.
