haha, I enjoyed that video. PS2 really had a weak and overhyped launch. Games aren't what they use to be anymore after the DC went away, I feel... Jet Set Radio, Typing of the Dead, Samba, Space Channel 5, Shenmue, Power Stone 2, Chu Chu Rocket, Seaman, PSO, so many different and quirky games.

SEGA gave up because they were worried that they might get beat down by another system after another attempt, all those Sony dorks buying Sony's crap consoles are wasting money and missing out on a REAL system like the Dreamcast... Dreamcast may be old... But who cares about the graphics that much, besides, Dreamcast has WAY better games! Like Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure's 1 & 2, Sonic Shuffle, Half-life (canned somehow but can still be played), and ALOT more!

well obviously it did win :( I loved the Dreamcast very much because it was the only system where you had a arcade system in your home and you had so much fun you mouth would drop. I wish SEGA would continue to make hardware consoles rather then games for all systems, Well it could still make games for other companies but just release another console. Its actually true that everyone would buy them because of sega's popular line

Playstations always have a rough start, but they mature into excellent systems. I doubt the Dreamcast would be a better system in comparison, if it would have survived the whole Gen. Sony is good at polishing their products. Look at the crappy start of the PS3 with "no games" and now the library gets more and more impressive.

Lol. But in reality the PS2 obliterated the dreamcast and ended Sega making consoles for good. I think some of the old Sega team work with Microsoft now.

This video is just classic. Playstation 2 DID NOT beat dreamcast. Sega Beat dreamcast. They simply gave up on it. It could have held its own against ps2 if sega just geve it a chance.
