Varvara sang "Letala da pela (Leto Letalo)". Her producers - Ironbeat.
Varvara finished Musical College by Gnesins, where her teacher was Matvey Osherovski — famous russian & ukrainian theatre director. She started to work in the theatre of pop performances of Lev Leschenko. Also that time she graduated from the Theatre Institute (GITIS) with a diploma of «the artist of the musical theatre». Then she left theatre of pop performances of Lev Leschenko and started her solo career.
In 2001 music company «NOX Music» released her debute album, which had title «Varvara». It was a result of hard working during all 2000. Most of songs were written by unknown authors and only name of Kim Breitburg (he wrote "Nothern Girl" as well) was famous.
In the summer 2002 the chief of swedish studio "Cosmo" (A-ha & Britney Spears worked there) Norn Bjorn invited Varvara to record some of her songs with swedish symphonic orchestra. They recorded only 1 song «Eti pozadi» (It's far behind) in r'n'b style. Varvara decided to continue recording of new songs for her future album in Russia as she thought that russian sound producers could work on the same level as european ones.
In march 2003 music company «Ars-Records» released her 2nd album «Blizhe» (Closer).
In the middle of the december 2004 new video of Varvara's «Letala da pela» was shooted. It is fairy-tale story, which was filmed in Morocco. Lyric of «Letala da pela» was written by Artur A'Kim and it is based on words from old russian national song. Music was composed by Vladimir Molchanov, who worked with Varvara for many years.
It was planned that video should have been filmed in Uzbekistan, but the cold weather was the reason to move shooting to Morocco.
Varvara didn't wanted this video to be like advertisement for travel agencies, so the video was filmed not in Marakesh, Agadir or Kasablanka, but in Varzazad & Zaouiat Aguilal, which are far from tourist centers of Morocco.
It's her first song, which has oriental melody, though she lived for some years in Arab Emirathes, where she worked with english music group. All costumes are in oriental style as well.
Video «Letala da pela» appeared on russian TV in February. English version of video was shooted as well, and it is planned to broadcast it on several european tv stations.
