Evan Marshall did this arragement at the suggestion of the PSO music director, so some of the notes are indeed different. Not a joke at all. He is the easiest guy in the world to work with and a wonderful musician.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaah!!! I wonder if I can get sheet music for this? I wonder if I can ever get the 5 years of practicing I would need to perfect it. Some of the mid-tones in the mandolin have a bit of attenuation - it's just the recording. Makes me want to hear it live - perhaps with a clever guitar arrangement instead of an orchestra.

Simplemente grandioso. La escuela de las tunas (estudiantinas) en México relegó mucho a la mandolina como instrumento con posibilidades de virtuosismo, la encasilló en un género y finalmente la sustituyó por otro instrumento; el tricordo. Ejemplos como este nos pueden ayudar a recuperar nuestro amado instrumento y mostrar a la gente las grandes posibilidades que este tiene.
