I know he is trying very very hard to be as cool as he can possibly be but he needs to turn down the, I'm so cool man act, enough to at least enunciate the words a little bit. All that mumbling is not cool. Quit tryin' so hard.

I'd say that he's got his own vocal style. Maybe with a *touch* of affectation, but it's definitely an acquired taste. This is really a cool song though...I just listen to the guitar parts and become totally entranced.

Jorma doesn't have to try and be cool ....hey hes Jorma ...ive seen him many times and in 86 he was drinking quite a bit(been sober for 10 years now) which would explain his lack of enuciation....and his voice is an acquired taste for sure ...

That's not Jorma trying to be too cool...He does that lazy pronunciation still to this day and he is a very modest man. If you were doing some of the complext things on guitar that he's doing..you'd have trouble pronunciating too!
