I liked the game, didn't like the ending, but the gameplay was really good, some parts pissed me off. I read reviews and was a little iffy about it, but bought it anyway. It turned out really well, if you are a survival horror fan, I would highly reccomend this game.

I consider FEAR to be sorta like a survival game in first person, it may be more like a FPS but its still pretty good and really freaky if you let yourself fall into the atmosphere. Aliens vs Predator is another really REALLY scary one but its pretty old and I do believe its PC only and may fall into more of a shooter category too.

Just not for me. I hated the controls, the camera blew balls. It's really glitchy too. However, there are some people who say the controls are fine for them, overall this game is a rent it first kinda' thing. Either that or play a demo but don't just go out and blow 60 bucks on it without trying it.
