Well, I don't care if Bowie is gay, straight or bi-sexual. Only music matters here; Bowie is able to write top songs and abysmal stuff either. Here it's an excellent one with a good guitar riff. This video isn't bad and quite artful. Now I'm wondering how how could you play it straight in stereo as it seems quite a new video for that popular song.

I could name you several of the best rock riffs which are "quite easy." But you try to work 'em out with no help but the record... Trouble is, the young are spoilt rotten now with music magazines, books and videos which explain away the magic. When people first heard the intro to The Beatles I Feel Fine, it was like listening to something from another world..."How did they do THAT!!" And they did it first, 40 odd years ago...

yea I know, now nowdays everyone simply uses tabs. But the thing with them is you dont actually learn anything, maybe a bit fingermovement, but you dont develop the important ear. Thats why I strongly recommend to anybody who is into guitar or wants to be into it: learn the songs only by hearing. It takes ages and ages but with the time it gets easier. And one day you will be able to play the notes that go on in your hand, without even thinking about them!
